Event Overview
|
Are you interested in learning how to author server-side Microsoft ASP.NET custom controls? In this session, we will show you how to easily create reusable user interface elements for your Web applications using ASP.NET. See how
to gain granular control over caching, use control designers, render your controls, and handle postback events.
Presenter: Geoff Snowman, MSDN Developer Community Champion, Microsoft Corporation
Geoff Snowman has been building applications since Ronald Reagan was President, CP/M was the operating system of choice, and Geoff's entire head was covered with hair. Prior to accepting his current role as Community Champion,
Geoff helped Microsoft customers create .NET solutions as a Senior Consultant for Microsoft Consulting Services and an Architect Evangelist with Microsoft's Mid-Atlantic district. A British transplant who has lived in the DC metro area since the 1980s, Geoff
has an MA in Computer Science from Cambridge University. His hobbies include playing bridge, photography and passing MCP exams.
