Event Overview
|
An effective Internet site based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 needs to planned for and implemented in a way that is different than a typical public-facing site. A Web designer can certainly start with an empty master
page and build it like any other site, but doing this would not take advantage of the powerful capabilities of SharePoint Server. In this webcast, we provide an overview of what is possible to brand, what SharePoint Server capabilities it makes sense to use,
and what you might want to create yourself.
Presenter: Lori Neff, Senior Consultant, UI Designer and Developer, Inetium
Lori is a Senior Consultant with Inetium as a SharePoint Designer and UI Developer. She’s been a .NET developer for 9 years, and her experience spans all versions of SharePoint, with a specialty in designing and developing public-facing SharePoint sites.
She has spoken at the Minnesota SharePoint User Group, the Minnesota Silverlight User Group, the Twin Cities SharePoint Camp, and has presented on Branding SharePoint at New Horizons. Other interests include developing in Silverlight (and of course integrating
it with SharePoint). She maintains a blog at
www.brandingsharepoint.com, where she discusses both SharePoint and Silverlight design.
