This session will discuss Microsoft’s current and future Virtualization portfolio of solutions for the hosting providers. Primarily, we will discuss in detail our current Hyper-V V2 in Windows
Server 2008 R2 and System Center Virtual Machine Manager R2. Through demonstration and a 200-300 technical review, we will demo both of these products to demonstrate how new features such as Live Migration and Cluster Share Volume (CSV) are “must-haves” for
the managed and cloud hosting provider who want to offer next generation virtualization solutions for their hosted customers. Secondarily, we will also examine the key investment areas of our Virtualization roadmap review to highlight why Microsoft is making
these investments and what is driving customer interest, adoption and new feature sets in Virtualization of Managed Hosting and Cloud Computing.
