Event Overview

Leveraging 25 years creating effective tools for parallel application development, Intel® now brings parallelism to the full range of Microsoft Windows applications.  Intel Parallel Studio gives Microsoft Visual Studio C/C++ developers the tools they need to discover, build, debug, and optimize for multicore.  This demonstration addresses parallelism opportunities and the examples that will be used in this webinar ship with Parallel Studio, so developers who download and install Parallel Studio can follow along on their own systems.

Presenter: Shobhan Jha, Product Line Marketing Manager, Intel

Shobhan Jha is the Product Line Marketing Manager for Intel® Corporation’s multithreading and performance analysis related software development products.  He leads the product marketing effort for Intel Parallel Studio, and co-launched the whatif.intel.com site for software development technology incubation.  Since joining Intel in 2000, Shobhan has held a variety of positions in software segment marketing, marketing program management and business development.  Prior to joining Intel, Shobhan held marketing and sales positions at Eaton Corporation and Westinghouse.  He has an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Maryland.
