TechNet Webcast: PerformancePoint Server 2007: M&A Implementation Methodologies and Best Practices (Level 200)  

In this webcast, we introduce you to Microsoft Consulting Services' Performance Management Center of Excellence (PM-CoE). The PM-CoE is responsible for documenting implementation methodology and best practices for Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007. We take you through the suggested phases of a generic PerformancePoint Server monitoring and analytics implementation, what to look out for, and the dos and don'ts.

Brad Erickson is a practice manager with the Microsoft Performance Management Center of Excellence. He focuses on business intelligence solutions using Microsoft technologies including Microsoft SQL Server 2005 services (Database Engine, Analysis Services, Integration Services and Reporting Services), ProClarity products, the 2007 Microsoft Office system, and Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007. Previously, Brad was the director of Customer Services for ProClarity Corporation until 2006 where he led ProClarity's Consulting, Technical Support, and Training services teams. Brad has nearly nine years of experience in business intelligence services leadership and development functions and more than 12 years of experience in corporate finance and accounting functions and management positions.

Curtis Young is a lead architect with the Microsoft Performance Management Center of Excellence. He focuses on business intelligence solutions using Microsoft technologies including Microsoft SQL Server 2005 services (Database Engine, Analysis Services, Integration Services and Reporting Services), ProClarity products, the 2007 Microsoft Office system, and Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007. Curtis was previously a consulting partner and senior consultant with ProClarity Corporation until 2006. He has architected and developed business intelligence solutions for numerous high profile Microsoft clients, including AC Nielsen, Ernst & Young, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Price Waterhouse Coopers, and the Microsoft Enterprise Services group. He has also developed and delivered training content for Microsoft development and business intelligence technologies for more than 15 years.
