Event Overview
|
This session was originally presented live at Microsoft Tech·Ed 2005.
If you write distributed applications, chances are good that you use serialization (although you may not know it). This webcast focuses on the internal workings of the serialization engines that are included in the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and discusses
some serialization techniques you can use to get the best results for your applications.
Presenter: Douglas Purdy, Group Program Manager, Thinktecture
Doug Purdy is a group program manager on the Connected Framework Team at Microsoft. His current areas of responsibility include the Windows Communication Foundation (formerly code-named "Indigo"), Microsoft ASP.NET Web Services (ASMX), Web Services Enhancements
(WSE), and Microsoft .NET remoting and serialization. Doug previously worked as a technical evangelist in the Microsoft .NET Framework team and as a senior consultant in the .NET Solutions group.
