Ian Tien is a frequent speaker on business intelligence applications at Microsoft conferences, including TechEd, World Wide Partners, Envision, TechEd Europe, and TechReady. He was program manager on Microsoft
Office Business Scorecard Manager 2005 owning the product’s specification and technology adoption program. Prior to joining Microsoft, Ian lived previous lives at Trilogy, in Austin, Texas, and at E*Trade in Toronto, Canada. He holds a Masters in Computer
Science from Cornell University and a Bachelors in Computer Engineer and Cognitive Science from the University of Waterloo.
Daniel Rubiolo Mendoza spent most of 2005 as the operations manager in charge of consolidating and developing metrics, reports, and bridge practices and processes among the Microsoft Data Center Services teams. Daniel also facilitated the internal use of Microsoft
Office Business Scorecard Manager 2005, developing prototypes and demonstrations that are then presented to executives. He also produced the IT Health and CIO Scorecards. Daniel has a rich history in tools, collaboration, publishing, and presentation in the
international arena.
