Event Overview

Most administrators, and maybe some developers, would agree that they spend a significant amount of their time troubleshooting various situations where Internet Information Server (IIS) seems to "hang". In this webcast, we will define what a hang is in the context of IIS and discuss some of the common reasons that cause IIS processes to hang. You will also learn how to use the appropriate tools to minimize the time to resolution.

Simon Maddock has been with Microsoft for 10 years.  He is currently an escalation engineer for the Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) product.  Simon is certified as a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Application Developer, and MCSD.NET.  He lives in Las Colinas, Texas and was the leading project manager for the IIS Debug Diagnostics 1.0 tool.
