Event Overview
|
If you're looking for a way to make sense of the feedback data your server generates, then Log Parser is definitely the tool for you. Log Parser makes it possible to run SQL-like queries against a variety of different data sources -- including IIS log
files, event logs, and the file system -- and write the desired output to a screen, file or SQL database. This session will teach you the Log Parser basics, and then give real-world examples of how to measure your web server's capacity usage for capacity planning,
easily aggregate daily server statistics (including some that aren't available through PerfMon), tune your web server settings based on traffic analysis, and troubleshoot web server performance issues.
